Dad was one of 10 brothers and sisters. Kind but fairly strict and always always stubborn. Very rarely changing his mind once it was set. He met mum and they married in a double wedding with mums sister and her husband. They went on to have 4 children, who in turn provided them with 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren (another one Jamie sadly grew angel wings at 11 weeks gestation). On a happier note another 2 great-grandchildren are due within a few months. He was a very significant character, once met never forgotten. From the young age of 40 he suffered with heart problems and also accute asthma and bronchitis which put him in hospital often. This limited his active involvment with his family, though he would spend hours sitting in his much loved garden watching the children play, whilst stroking his beloved labrador Bess. "Give Mum and Jamie a kiss Dad and I know you will be keeping Phil entertained with your stories". We will all miss him but the memories we have will last forever. RIP Dad .xXx
